Our Bold Vision

At Giving Grounds Coffee, we provide specialty coffee that gives back. We believe that coffee needs to taste good and do good in order to be good. So, we've made it our mission to be good. We do this by providing ethically sourced, artisan-roasted coffees while giving a portion of proceeds to provide farm-ready plots of land to Ugandans.

One bag of Giving Grounds Coffee funds approximately 50 sq. feet of land, crops, and training that will economically empower impoverished Ugandans and ultimately create thriving communities.

Justine

Meet Justine, a modern African woman. Justine is a single mother who has just retired from working on a CEED farm in Uganda. When she began working on the farm in 2001, retirement wasn't a concept she was even familiar with, let alone dreamed of.
Ann

Ann

Meet Ann*. She is 40 years old and has been working on the CEED farm for 9 years. She has a total of 6 children, 3 boys, and 3 girls. On the farm, Ann focuses on weeding and harvesting. She tells the farm manager that she works for her children and loves all of them equally.
Francis

Francis

Francis* is 26 years old and has been working at the CEED Farm in Uganda for 8 years. He is responsible for a variety of tasks but mainly focuses on weeding, pruning, and harvesting. Francis is married and has two children, who are not old enough to attend school.
